Olive Grove

The lovely woman in the McLaren Vale information centre gives us a map of all the wineries & foodie stop offs in the McLaren vale & lots of tips about where to go. We start at this olive grove which grows beautiful kalamata olives & makes fabulous olive oil.

On the way from the Grampians to the McLaren Vale we stop off at this view point to look over a mountain range called the Balconies.

After roo watching we turn our attention to the mountains overlooking the campsite as the sun comes up. Paul is modelling his camper's chic hair do.

Boxing Kangaroos

Early in the morning I'm woken by a rustling noise outside and poke my head through curtains to see a group of five or so kangaroos grazing right next to our van. Two of the adults are boxing. It's so fascinating to watch. The roos are really tame & don't seem to be bothered by our presence at all.
