We pick up some baguettes & cheeses & pack the olives we bought at the olive grove yesterday & make our way around a few of the local wineries. At Kay's we read the diaries of Colin Kay's ancestors who have kept a record of their winemaking since they arrived from Scotland in 1891. Their wine taste pretty good too so we buy a bottle.

One of the best things about staying in the McLaren Vale is that it's so close to the beach. It reached 42 degrees on our first day there so we spent the evening cooling off in the sea on this beautiful beach.
