It takes two hours from Sydney by train to reach the Blue Mountains. We stay in a great little town called Katoomba which is full of antique shops & lovely little cafes. On our first walk we discover why they're called the Blue Mountains. The eucalpypt trees give off a vapour which causes a blue mist to hover over the trees. It looks amazing. Like a scene from a fairytale.
