Here are the photos from our Mekong Delta trip at last. We visited a honey farm & watched local women make coconut sweets (that's the runny stuff on the table)& then were rowed through the rushes in narrow wooden boats before arriving in Can Tho for our overnight stop. The guide tells us that is has the most mosquitoes & most cases of malaria of anywhere in Vietnam. Great! There is a huge statue of Ho Chi Min on the waterfront & lots of unfamilar fare at the local restaurants including snake, field mouse & roasted squirrel. Paul tries some snake. Apparently it's quite nice.
