Last Day in Japan

We have a great last day in Japan. In the morning we see a huge demo. It was very orderly & the police broke up the marchers into small groups which they stopped at regular intervals to let the traffic pass for a bit. Not at all like demos at home.

We also spend a couple of hours in a state of the art internet cafe where you can choose from a range of options for where to park your bum that include a love seat and a massage chair. You can also eat, drink, watch porn (it's very normalised here, quite difficult to get used to), have a shower or go on a sunbed. We do the regular, cheapest, normal option but still get huge leather executive chairs that spin & headphones to listen to music while we surf.

We have lunch in a conveyor belt sushi place. Very tasty & lots of veggie options. Can't persuade Paul to try the smoked horsemeat though.

And finally we round off the trip with a mammoth karaoke session. Here's Paul really getting into his stride.

Japan has been so much fun & definitely the highlight of the trip so far for me.
