13th February 2008 is 'Sorry' Day in Australia. The day that new Labour Prime Minister Kevin Rudd follows through on his promise to make an apology on behalf of previous successive Australian governments for the forced removal of Aborginal children from their families. It's a monumental day in Australian history and it's very interesting to be in the country to see it. Rudd's speech is broadcast live on television and thousands of people have turned up outside parliament in Canberra to see this moment.
Later in the day we go to the museum of Sydney to learn some more about Australian history.
