Today's pictures feature me salivating over the juicy fish slabs outside restaurants in Varkala, a a clifftop town with beach in Kerala, Kerry salivating over spices in the hills around Kumilly and not much hapening on the backwaters around houseboat town Alleppey. We just need the photo girl to stop e-mailing her chums and start downloading.
For my part, I am enjoying the trip and have reconciled myself to the fact that being a traveller is the same as being on holiday and that I will be coming back as spirtually impoverished as I was when I left but over-leisured and with a richer appreciation of the big wide world.
