The chicks that we see on the hillside are three months old now & still have their downy infant feathers. At this stage in their lives they are eating machines & sit in their nests, barely moving, just waiting for their parents to bring home food for them. Sadly we don't get to see an adult bird returning for a feeding session but we do see one flying overhead.

Albatross Chicks
The chicks that we see on the hillside are three months old now & still have their downy infant feathers.
