Edgefield used to be a poorhouse and then an old people's home but now it's a fabulous multi-purpose estate including a hotel, winery, brewery, concert venue, spa & vegetable garden. The walls of the hotel are covered in murals often depicting elderly people. A nod to the building's former purpose. I especially like the reworking of Botticelli's Venus with an old lady & nurses.
