We're here at last! After initially having no luck finding a room in the city at all a stroke of good fortune lands us a lovely room at the Dakota Hotel just off Union Square right in the heart of the city. Here's the view from our window & our first sighting of the Golden gate bridge. After listening to our California playlist on the i-pod on the way here we now can't get Judy Garland's "San Francisco' out of our heads.
