Part of our drive around the island is on the beach which is a designated highway and gets plenty of traffic. It's also an airstrip but the fact that it sometimes seems a bit like Piccadilly Circus still doesn't detract from its beauty. Unfortunately we can't go swimming in the sea as there are dangerous riptides and if these don't get you the numerous sharks probably will.
