After the fun of new year's eve, new year's day is a total right off for us as our journey over to Krabi which is supposed to take 6 hours ends up taking 12 instead. Won't bore you with the details but it was pretty grim, plus I managed to get NINE mosquito bites on my face, the only part of my body not doused with jungle strength repellant. Why me? Paul says it's because I'm so tasty but this has not made me feel any better. I look a bit like the elephant man so there won't be any pictures of me for a few days.
Things pick up the next day when we take a long-tailed boat ride to Railay which is beautiful as you can see. In the evening we eat at the local night market. Paul is particularly excited about his tea for some reason.
