I take some photos of LA from the plane as we arrive. It couldn't be more of a contrast with where we've just come from. We feel a bit like we've been hit over the head with the modern world on turbo. As we leave the airport I spy a plane from the from the shuttle bus window spelling out 'Welcome Home Tori & Dean' in vapour trails. People really know how to make a gesture here.
