We spend a couple of days in San Cristobal de la Casas which is the heart of indigenous Mexico. Thousands of people from the local indigenous villages have moved to the city making San Cristobal a vibrant, exciting & cosmopolitan place. San Cristobal has a very relaxed feel & is a lovely place to just stroll around enjoying the architecture & crafts. The photos show the cathedral on the main plaza, real de 30th nov, Santa Domingo cathedral & the archway & bell tower of the convent.
