We visit the November 20th market which is a huge, sprawling affair. You can buy almost anything here including whole grasshoppers fried in chilli powder. The women carrying around huge baskets of them try to convince us to sample a few. I'm grateful to have the vegetarian excuse & try to persuade Paul to have a go instead. He decides to pass. We head off to the hot chocolate stalls instead & watch our waitress make the drink in a big earthenware pot on the stove. She uses a wooden whisk to make the mixture frothy & serves it up to us in huge bowls with a sweet bread roll for dipping. It's lovely.
