It's all happening in LA. We get to see the Kodak theatre where the Oscars are held each year & even see a pop video being made just as we're walking down the street. The video involved dancers on scaffolding & a London bus. The crew were hosing down the road with water for the shoot presumably to make the weather look more authentically British.
Nearly everyone we've spoken to about LA has told us that we'd hate it & that it's souless & dull but we love it. It's vibrant & exciting & a lot of fun. We're looking forward to coming back here later in our trip.
